Heather F. Shannon graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree. Ms. Shannon is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio.

During her law school career, Ms. Shannon was one of the few members of her law school class to be invited to the Walter H. Rice Moot Court Competition and to serve on her law schools Moot Court Team. As a result of her experience on Moot Court, Ms. Shannon received the award for Best Appellate Brief in the Herbert Wechsler National Moot Court Competition in New York.

She is currently a member of the Ohio State and Greene County Bar Associations. Ms. Shannon is also the Chairman of the Greene County Bar Association's Grievance Committee.
